like the ‘good china’ - paid so much to have it but it only sat in the china cabinet for special days that would never come. I never saw a calendar that even had a special day designated for the use of said china. That didn’t stop women with extra money stacked away in envelopes under the bed from buying into his perceived value. They all ended up in the same boat anyway, paying for a man they could not afford and would end up looking at from behind a glass.
Wise words from a wise woman..
credit her knowledge for upscale crockery to the trips she has made through various cabinets of relationships — leaving her as fragile as the very porcelain she once praised..
It is amazing how deep this concept runs. There’s good china all around, yet how useless.. well that does not become apparent until the truths about their purpose is met. That crystal glass door of insecurity halts the necessary connections made and leaves you breathing down the neck of your favorite tea kettle only to be dismissed.. your palms sweat when you hold them, there’s not much durability, your nervous when in their presence — afraid to make a sudden movement that could shift your relationship dining room cabinet and damage what so many perceive to be unique.. and special.. and ravishing.. and charming.. and artistic.. and decorative.. and glamorous or delightful
But SHE’s not.. HE actually is not worth a cent of the thousands paid for that pedestal of a shelf SHE places HIMSELF on.. How long do you plan to keep it up? Days turn into weeks that turn into months and eventually years of trying to preserve this dusty, faded relationship thats holding up not so good china and a glass wall of secrets and neglect.
The potential is obvious. The dishes can be dolled and made to look better and better with the sky at your limit. . fully equipped with a plethora of add-ons and garnishments.. BUT their role, well that only reaches about as high as the top of the china cabinet .. where’s the fulfillment? where’s the joy? Honestly, where’s the DIXIE cups.. would that be considered a “one night stand” since they take off in HEFTY bliss after we finish?
Just my thoughts, so I assume that sharing is necessary for those who cater to good china (haha.. that was flyy)..
STEPHEN A. BAYLESS!!
I just cannot stop watching this! ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith never fails to make great points and shed light on the often overlooked.. He just kills this segment of ESPN’s First Take and exposes Lebron James and his ignored weaknesses. WOW. Not to mention it is HILARIOUS, absolutely hysterical..
